Dr. Lauren Angioletti has been with the Retina Center of New Jersey since August 2014 and currently attends offices in Bloomfield, North Bergen, Teaneck and Union, N.J. Prior to that she had been practicing with her family at Angioletti Retina associates (offices in Manhattan and New Jersey). At that time she also held a position at the prestigious New York eye and ear infirmary as an associate clinical Director in the retina clinic, supervising residents and students in training.
She completed both her undergraduate bachelor of science and medical degree at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Along with her brothers and uncle, she completed her Ophthalmology residency at the New York eye and ear infirmary in 1996.
Dr. Angioletti has been a sub investigator for many of the novel medications that have been FDA approved, and very recently, for the treatment of wet macular generation and geographic atrophy - these drugs include Vabysmo, Syfovre, Izervay and EyleaHD.
In her spare time, Dr. Angioletti likes to golf, garden, bake, cook, sing and travel. She is one of the lead cantors at Saint Therese of Liseaux Church church in Cresskill, New Jersey. Dr. Angioletti has four fantastic children who have just begun their young adult careers. She's very proud to be one of the original partners at Retina Center of New Jersey and looks forward to many more years of assisting wonderful patients and providing great patient care.
